it's a little early for corn yet, but we found a roadside stand with some bread'n butter corn (bi-color) yesterday...i'm pretty picky about the corn but they let me eat an ear raw...it was sweet and juicy so i bought a few.
Rubbed butter into them, topped with liberal amounts of TBBQR, wrap in foil and grill medium high for ~15 mins. GOOD STUFF.
One note that some ppl don't think about when grilling corn in foil...always wrap the corn by just rolling it up in the foil. Don't seal the ends together. This way when the corn comes off and it's still piping hot, all you do is grab the loose end of foil and pull, tearing out the center section...this helps you from getting burned fingers :)

Jason:
Thanks for the info on the corn. Here in Texas have not seen any really good ears yet but we keep looking.
I usually roast my corn on the pit. First, soak the whole ear of corn in water for about 30 minutes. Then put on the pit with the other items you are cooking and let it cook say an hour or so. Take it off, pull back the shuck (you can use the pulled back shuck to hold the corn while you eat the ear), dip in butter, sprinkle on some Texas BBQ Rub and have a great side dish for the BBQ that is really easy to do. Or do as Jason says and wrap in foil and put on the grill or pit.
Corn is cheap and a great side dish. Enjoy the 4th of July everyone. Celebrate our country's B-Day with friends, family and some BBQ. It's an American tradition.

Hey ya"ll. another good recipe with corn is what Dragonlad calls "Slathered corn". Simply boil your corn 1st, Then slather some spicy mayonaisse on it & grill it just untill you get the grill marks, serve with your meal & MUNCH DOWN :!: Oh you can also put it on your pit after you boil, then put your slather on, & then Get-R Dunn!! Another thing, if you think that your mayonaise is too thick, just cut it a little with some apple cider vinegar. That"ll do ya.
