overnight rub

I am going to try the TX BBQ RUB on a brisket this weekend and have a quiestion. I have done one brisket before and I applied the rub the night before and wrapped the brisket in plastic wrap.

Should I do this with the TX BBQ RUB or just put it on the day of cooking?

Using the 1-2-3 Method with Texas BBQ Rub it is not necessary to rub the brisket the night before. We have designed the rub to work immediately after you put it on. I did this to save a bunch of time. However, if you would like to rub the brisket the night before with Texas BBQ Rub it will be fine, just not necessary.
