You are all gods

I love to bbq but have struggled to find ways to make it unforgettable. I am at the point where we get extra people over for dinner when they know a bbq is happening, but I know I can do better

I can't believe what I have learned just surfing through the site and forum....

I use gas, but have never used wood to get extra flavour. I will now.

THANKS

btw....I am on Chicken tomorrow....and I will cook it slower. I can feel that it will be even better.

On top of that we will have a Sams Club open up nearby in October. I am gonna rock the ribs :)

Sounds like you are getting the feel of this. Glad we gave you some pointers and let us hear how the BBQ went.

Welcome to the sport - it's in your blood now. You'll dream about BBQ, you'll never be able to eat enough of it, you'll become obseessed with that slow smoked flavor or that grilled touch. Almost like golf. You'll also become very critical and observant of the commercial BBQ places.

Hang in there, have some fun and just be patiient and persistant...

I had never used any kind of wood to add flavour, but am going to this weekend.

I got some Mesquite from a local "Lone Star" restaurant. My daughter waits tables there and she bought me a bag of it. :) She is now my favourite child

Anyways.....the ribs Saturday will be special.
