Had it about 3 months now, Doug. Before then I thought BBQ came from a crockpot.

You're right, this little sucker is awesome! I got a BBQguru for it, but haven't used it yet. (www.thebbqguru.com)

It is so easy to control the temps. I can let it go all night and still get a good night's sleep, with a remote therm to wake me up just in case. Looking forward to cooking my first brisket soon. Got some of the #2 rub for one.

Someone said that #2 is good on chicken? I might fire up a beer can chicken on the grill tonight if it's good.

I love the stuff on chicken, and the way I cook it on the wsm is

to remove the water pan, get that sucker up tp around 325- 350,

put the chicken on the top grill amd let it go, the fat from the

chicken will hit the coals and wood and you will get what I call

flavor bombs. It normally takes about an hour and 10 min. to

cook the chicken, I turn it half way through the cook put sauce on

the last 15 min. and your good to go. That guru is something I'm

thinking about getting, another toy the wife will just love that.
