wood-WET OR DRY?

Hey YA'LL
when adding wood to the fire, should it be wet or dry? I've been using dry, this question was asked to me and I didn't know if wet could be used throughout cooking. Thanks

Hey Downhome, all I use is dry. Wet produces more problems than anything, and you will get plenty of smoke from dry wood. Besides, don't need any temp problems when that new log I added won't get going.
