Ok I would grill tuna. Tuna does not have the fat for smoking. It would be very dry if smoked. If you do smoke it leave it on the Pitt for 1 or 2 hours tops unless you have a whole tuna. Blue fish and salmon take to smoking well.
I know if I had me a nice piece of tuna I would break out the webber and some lump charcole. Marinade the steaks in Allegro for about 30 minutes. Spice the steaks up with some Montreal steak seasoning and grill em on the hottest fire for about 2 or 3 minutes on each side. Tuna is best when pink in the middle.

I do tuna/swordfish/salmon - thicker fish steaks I just grill 'em. Like 101, soy sauce works real well, nice flavor while taking most of the "fishy" taste out. Oil up your grate, sear them hot both sides, and then I cook over medium heat until they flake. Bill's grilling magic is really good, or lemon pepper - or make a nice sour cream dill sauce for the side...
