Hey Folks, I got some more of Bills rub the other day. Gonna have a big bbq for the Fourth of July. Anyway, Due to y'alls suggestion, I ordered some pork & beef sausage from Praseks. Got it today and had to try it out, so I grilled up a chub. Oh yeah! Thats what I'm talkin about! Thought I was back in Texas for a minute. Seems like all the sausage up here is too fatty. Not bad, just not Texas sausage.
So , can't wait to smoke me some. Question is, Should I put a little a Bills rub on em? Anyone try this?
Also got the sampler from Slovacks, hasn't arrived yet.

Sounds like you have found a link to Texas.

Both sausages are dang good sausage but I guess I still lean a bit to the Slovacek sausage (jalapeno). Too many compliments on that sausage to let it slide by.

I personally never put rub on the sausage. Seems like the sausage is cooking in and below meat that is dropping rub and juices all over the sausage so have never just put it on there to start of with. Try it out if you like it will be good.
