Hi guys! Glad to see every one kiss & make up, I may be new; but don’t leave me out of the group hug… 8)

My Q = question

Apx. how many briskets are going to fit in @ 24 x 60 barrel top & bottom rack.

I do not have a brisket in front of me right now...but I figure, apx. 8 inches wide; 15-17 long; apx. avg. size being 10-12 lbs. ....seem right?

that gives me @ 10-12 bottom 8 top = apx. 18-20....?

If any one have experience stuffing their 24 x 60, I would like to here how much they are getting in it.

Other meats as well….ribs will go in racks in the 4 shelve upright

Bill you make a great rub & I try to tell everyone I can.

Thanks guys
Fred

Ps…I handle the buds…not sure yet you guys know anything but swag J

Fred:
I have alot of experience with that size pit as I have one like that myself (as well as the big one). From my experience you are really close on the brisket stuffing. I think I figure 16 in mine but could push a couple more in there I guess. I cook my ribs laying down as I just am getting acquainted with rib racks and my oh my are these capable of creating a much bigger capacity for ribs. Ritch makes a fine, and I mean fine rib rack.

Thanks for the comments on the rub and keep on passing the word around we do appreciate that.
