Texas Pepper Jelly Question

I have never had any of the Texas Pepper Jelly.

Any suggestions on which ones to try as a finishing glaze for ribs, along with Bill's rub, and how to go about it ?

Buckeye. Didn't you say something one time about doctored up KC Masterpiece? If so what was it? Wife likes KC and want to smoke some with it and Bills rub. Do you mix pepper jelly in with it?

Guiltee az charged :oops: .....I ain't proud of whut I done, but I noed that sum peeples like sauce on their Q......didn't feel like doin both tha tomato based and vinegar based ( fer those that may have a preference)...so I took tha KC an added sum vinegar to it, ta give the mouth sumthin ta think about :roll: . Those that liked "spicey" sauce....I gave em' tha same thing but with a generous amount of cayenne pepper. I do tha sauce thing only becuz I noe sum folks iz uzed ta eatin "wet" Q....My personal experience with providin tha sauce, whether it's store brand or sumbodies elses receipe, iz that they only uz bout 1/4 of whut I put out there. Most peeples like my Q dry (yep..it's that darn good!) . But tha thing iz, ya gotta provide it.

vabbq, I always use Texas Passion friut, Pineapple/habenaro or apple/ jalapeno to glaze my ribs in. It is excellent. I put it on about 45 minutes before taking them off to slice...got to quit ....getting hungry....need ribs.....ARRRRGGGHHH!!! :D :D
