I still only have a gas grill.
Can I cook the pork necessary for pulled pork on a grill ? (2-burner)
I was thinking with one end on and one off I might could do it... ?

Yeah I know...I need to get a proper wood burner
Been drooling all morning over the gator pits site
Maybe when I get big
Sure you can. My mother always cooked butts in the oven, to a slicing stage. After trying mine, she wanted to know how I did it. Short story...she put a 7 lb. butt in the oven for 14 hours, at 225°, after rubbing it heavily. It was excellent and pulled beautifully.

That's about how I did it before I got my propane smoker. Only I made a paste with the rub, using worstershire and a little liquid smoke. About the same oven temp and time. If you put it on the table and it disappears, you done good, if not the dog eats good. Greathounder

I think you should be able to cook great pulled pork on a gas grill, set the temp reach an internal temp of 150-155 wrap in foil with a little juice and let cook to about 185.... :D :D :D Wa-La pulled pork!! :D :D

Don't forget to put some wood chips or pellets in a foil pouch and throw it right on the burner for some nice smoke flavor.
That is of course if you want some nice smoke flavor.

You can also pull it and chop it up a little bit, add a cider vinegar based sauce and bingo, you have eastern NC BBQ. That, on a hamburger bun with slaw, it just don't get any better.
