psssst. Ron. I hear that that meat ain't the best of what they have to offer either. The really good stuff gets sent to the midwest where guys like you and I pay $2.50-$2.99/lb for "choice". :wink: Seriously, I have talked to alot of folks who say that the $.99/lb briskets are crap. I really don't know, but the stuff I ate while I was in Tejas from Bill, and Smitty's, and Cowtown, was really good. I'm sure somebody will fill me in! WM

Well I have a new Head Meat Cutter at my Sam's Club and I like this guy alot. I asked him if he new how to order Packers Cut Briskets and he said I sure can. I asked him for a case price and he said 1.25 per #. So I ordered 2 cases. His next question to me was do you Q. I said hell yea and told him about The Pork Fu Bbq Crew. Well looks like the team has a new member Mike with a Meat Cutter on the team we can only get better better meat that is. Can I get a Rock On!!!

I forgot to ask. You should talk to your butcher at Sams Club. Just tell him to order Packers Cut. Mike said its on the main order menu right next to Brisket Flats. The old Butcher just did not want to order a case unless he could sell it all.

Hey 101, that's a good price for up there. Down here @ Sam's Club we are paying $1.18 # here. Wally has them for $1.28#. So that's good for where you"re @.
