good morning, all. i've got two butts and two picnics on right now. instead of making a big deal out of it, i simply put worcestershire on and then bills rub. tossed them in with hickory chunks and lump. :) currently, the outside temp is 30* :roll: let's see how this turns out! t

thanks, tex. i hope so too. btw, did i ever tell you i received your jelly and how awesome it is! wheweeee :D good stuff. i was a little skeptical at first, just because i don't care for sweet and spicy together, but, since i'm into trying new things, i gave it a shot and glad i did. man, you otta sell that stuff! :lol:

ok, well. just finished a dinner of the pulled pork i did today. best i've done so far. happy with the results. lesson learned; keep it simple! i couln't cut it because it just fell apart :lol: one thing i would change is less smoke :P

Congrats SmokinT .... I knew you could do it. Falling apart is good. Easier to pull for sure ....

Sometimes ya gotta just go with what works and if thats simple then no need to complicate it !!!!

Yeah T! you really want it to "fall apart" sister. Then you throw out all the bone and gristle. Then either "pull" it with a couple of forks working in opposite directions, or chop it with a cleaver or knife. Glad it worked out for you! Melly Chlistmas!

Sounds like a winner SmokingT. For less smoke flavor you might want to try a different wood than the hickory. Or heck mix a couple of different woods like hickory and oak. This will cut down on the strong hickory flavor.

Good job, glad the simple 1-2-3 method did the job.
