Thermostat BBQ brothers need some help i have noticed BBQ with a thermostat inserted with an outside reader is this good to use and if yes where is the best place to pick one up.

Are you talking about a wireless meat prode or a Temp gauge you can mount to your pit?

I had always used the "guess & time" method until I got a remote reading thermometer last year. Don't know how I got along without it. Any store that sells cooking equipment should have them, or you can look at www.alliedkenco.com. One word of warning. Don't wash the braded wire. Clean the probe only. I ruined my first one by trying to clean the smoke residue off the braded wire.
