Here is a picture of the butts I'm doing this weekend. I will try to remember to take more photos as the cook progresses.

Yes I do, I take the string off after 6 hours or so.

I haven't seen butts in a sling like that before, only beef. Does the netting provide a benefit? Do you pull or slice the pork after it cooks? Looks good so far. :D

The "sling" keeps it together after 4-6 hours I cut it off and the butt opens up, gives two different layers of bark. No real benefit unless you are cooking alot of them, it keeps them compact so you can jam more per shelf.

This pork will be pulled when complete.
