Sorry about those Texas sized Q pics. See if this works better, if not, I will need some help. Click on these thumbnails and see if they work better:

Ok Buckeye you Hindu, Fiji, no thinkin qbrutha ....
Can you see these better ????
vabbq. After you select a photo to download, then click the "host it" button
you will see a selection of various formats each with their own location path. There are 2 for thumbnails for forums and I think I use option 2. I'm not on my home PC to tell for sure, but in the location path you will see "IMG" in upper-case letters. That's the one I use. You can also remove the black bar under the photos as well. There is a box to click on for that. These are better though.

I am not sure what is up with this hosting site, but sometimes when you open these pics, they are still really big, then if you close and reopen, they are normal size. Wonder if I need to find another hosting site ?????????

You probably need to manage your pics for size before you upload them to your image hoster. Those numbers under your pics are the size. The first number is the width. It should be no more than about 440 (half page) for posting on a forum format. Second number is the height. It'll be somewhere between 300 or 600 or so depending on if it's a horizontal or vertical shot. Your camera might have come with a software program to manage your pics. I've been using "Microsoft Picture-It", but there are lots of others.

oompappy is correct.
vabbq it looks like you are uploading 6 megapixel images at their full resolution. Resize them as oompappy suggested and they will download faster for everyone.
This one went from over 800k down to 38k (over 20 times smaller) when I resized it to 266x400 pixels:

I'm new here but it sure looks like you folks know what you're doing. Pictures are making me hungry but I gave up eating between meals. Somehow I think tomorrow morning's poptart isn't going to be very satisfying!

Welcome, Glenn. You may be in over your head in more ways than one. These guys get pretty crazy sometimes.
VA, I never complimented you on that great looking Q. As far as I'm concerned you can make pics of that stuff as big as you want. I'm thinking about blowing a couple of those up and putting them on my bedroom ceiling.
