Photo's of College Station Feast ...

I mentioned on another thread last week that we were having a
"little" shindig in College Station on the 12th for members of my
website. If you didn't see it, the menu consisted of the following...

Menu:

57 Racks of Ribs (51 babybacks and 6 spares)
50 lbs homemade boudin
50 lbs venison sausage
40 lbs beef fajitas
100 lbs crawfish
unknown qty fish fillets (trout, reds and crappie)
unknown qty fried chicken gizzards
Unknown qty beans
Unknow qty chili
30 lbs rocky mountain oysters
(I will neither be cooking, nor eating those!)
100 fresh gorditas imported from Hector's Grill in Pearsall, Texas for breakfast!

Except for a bit of a breeze that played havoc on the EZ Ups,
we couldn't have asked for a better day. Sunny skies and 80
degrees. We had four pull-behind pits and a few additional grills.
About 300 members attended and it was a grand time. I know
a limit has been placed on the number of pics that can be posted,
so I'll just post a few.

Just got one question. Why weren't any good looking chicks invited?

You guys must look like the other bbq cooks I've seen at BBQ competitions if you can't get any chicks to show up in College Station.

Hey Michael, Great pics!!!

I've always known that Texas grows the prettiest girls, big one or little ones.

I was on a business trip to Dallas once with a car load of guys I work with when I announced that the prettiest girls in the world were in Texas. Well, the Tennessee and Georgia guys disagreed loudly. At that moment we stopped at a light and "Mrs. America" (rated 15 on a scale of 10) walked across the street directly in front of us. Things got reeeeal quiet in the car and you could just hear opinions starting to change...

This was our fourth "Bownanza", most everybody pitched in to help with cooking or brought a side dish or contributed to help offset the cost. It was a great time spent with great friends and family.

:shock: How many pits did you guy's have going to cook all that food? 50+ slabs of ribs takes up alot of grill space even using rib wracks.
