Iz it safe ta boil a Ziplock freezer bag fulla meat?....Or uz onlee food saver type bags fer that type of re-heet'n? :roll:

They are fine...I used to use them while camping years ago...Sometime I would double bag them though...

Hey Buckeye, ya coulda just TRIED one, couldn't ya have? :lol:
I'll tell what won't stand any heat - Ketchup or BBQ bottles! I've melted 4 with hot sauce. One in the microwave and 3 pouring my special sauce into them. :(

:lol: Buckeye you gotta get you a seal a meal. You can boil leftovers with no trouble. Trouble with zip locks is the will melt and leak. I used to use zip locks to store leftover and the pork would get a nasty freezer burn taste. I have to tell you leftovers in a seal a meal taste just as good as the day you made it. :wink:

:wink: Plus you can make the bag any size you want. I make little bags with chopped brisket for breakfast. I just loves me some leftover brisket with some over easy eggs ontop and a side of toast. :wink:

I tried boiling a bag of frozen chili in a zip loc and ended up making a huge mess. The bag melted............

Tried one last last ta see :roll: ..........held up fine. 8) Guess I'll do tha rest of whut I froze in freezer bags that way.......wuz sposed ta git a Food Saver/Tilia/Seal-a-Meal fer Xmas......but Santa gave mine to my mother-in-law. :shock: :cry: 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Watch that ziplock bag real careful in the boiling water. They aren't made for that and like Larry said, it'll make a mess.
Plus, if it explodes, it'll leave a mark... :roll:

I make omelets in em no trouble for me, bring watrer to boil then chunk em in for about 15 min open and have your omelete
