hello all i am doing a pork butt tomorrow making some pulled pork. What temp do I pull my butt off at. It is 7 lbs my pit will be operating at 260.

for ease of pulling, right around 205 works for me. If you want to slice, 190-195 will do fine

Hey Farmboy, I didn't know how that one came out, BUT, I do mine just like a brisket.I.E., 225 drgrees on the pit. I can go either way when I get it smoked,#1 I can either leave it on the pit untill I can pull the bone out clean OR #2 I can wrap it up in foil like I do my briskets & put it in a 225 degree oven for about 3 hours depending on how tender that it was when I pulled it offa the pit to begin with. Then, when I can pull the bone out clean, I get with the program. Hey ya know what comes next,,,,put your favorite sauce on the shredded meat, Gwet ya some oversize HB buns, make ya some sammiches & GIT-R-DUN!!! :D :D :D 8) 8) 8)
