I recieved my TexasBBQRub order last week.On Saturday I smoked 2 racks of ribs and 5 chicken breasts. My wife said "they were the best ribs she ever had".I smoked them using the 3-2-1 method( I added a little apple juice while the were in the foil ).The ribs were falling off the bone.I told here I'd wrap them for an hour next time so they might stay on the bone. She said " No Way" .I'm gonna try a sholder or butt this weekend. She should love that too.
Thanks Bill
Great Rub

Hey Mac,

I ain't Herper, but take a look at this thread (http://tvwbb.infopop.cc/eve/ubb.x/a/tpc/f/1780069052/m/4080017462/p/1) concerning butter and a smoked Ribeye...

Hey Tom,

Was it your intention to post this particular site? If so, how do I get into "Groupee" and what do I do once I'm in? :?

Mac had corn on the cob and dropped a piece of steak in the dish with the butter. not wanting to waste any tasty cow I ate it and damn that was good. Ruths Chris Steakhouse cooks their steaks in butter at extreme temps, and they are to die for. I will often cook mushrooms in butter and pour over steak. leftovers are calling from the fridge as we post..... that sweet voice calling me.... luring me to the depths of leftoverdom ... calling my name in that buttery grill magicedvoice......callll

Herper,

I love "Ruths Criss" and didn't know about the butter thing. I think the steak produced from this restaurant is the best I ever had. Oh yes, Prime Rib is something else also!

It's kinda like that rags-to-riches Reese Pnut Butter Cup thing. Ya know, where the two walk around the corner, bumping the choco into the pnutbutt. Whammo! Instant great ideer.

Same here.

One day, not during tax season, however, Bill was walkin' around with a bag o rub. He rounded the corner as a guy carrying meat approached from the other side. The collided. That means they ran into each other.

The other guy stuck his meat in Bill's bag. Whammo! They had a mess. They discussed it for a while, trying to decide what tadu.

Finally, Bill sed, "I'ma go buy a bigo bbq pit. Let's see if we can cook this stuff off."

The rest is history. It's such a famous story, don't hardly nobody Q Reese Cups anymore.

Bill became one of the richest men in his house. The other poor fella just eats pnut butter, now. They all lived happily eva afta.

And that's the truth. :P :P :P :P :P

Mac,

That groupee thing is just their forum software. I'm surprised it required you to do anything. Doesn't usually just to view the forum.

Try it again and see if it does the same. If so I'll figure another way to get at it.

"No, you got rub on my meat!"

Quite a few steak houses will spirnkle the seasoning on the steak and then sear it in butter in a pan really quick then throw it on a flame. Man it is good eating.

3 hours unfoiled on the pit.
2 hours foiled on the pit
1 hour unfoiled with you starting to slather the sobs with 30minutes to go.

Where you located in MI? A bunch of us will be up in Grand Rapids in 3 weeks for a cookoff. More than welcome to come on up and keep us company and b.s.

No alcohol but does not mean no flasks.
