To Bill with Texas Bar-b-que,
Well the retirement party is finally over! I cooked for over 430 people. The only problem I had was getting my rub here all at the same time! I ordered 16 pounds of rub, only 8 pounds arrived, by Friday I was worried. I came to the conclusion that the post office had lost the other 8 lbs of my brisket blend rub. At 6:00 p.m. on Friday a call was made to Bill Cannon, he was nice enough to hear my whole story. He knew the deadline I was up against, and was willing to drive more than half way to meet my beautiful wife and daughter in Winnie, TX. He delivered the other 8 pounds of the Brisket blend, which has and always will continue to be my special ingredient. I had 21 briskets, 100lbs of chicken quarters, and 50lbs of link sausage, to cook by Sunday morning, and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have been able to do it. Thanks again, Bill for your personal touch, and stepping up to the plate. :D
Sincerely,
