:lol: Well Mr Lucky is at it again. I get a day off work and he just wont let rest. So off in the the truck I go to Sams. Well Sams is all outa butts cause they wanted to sell country style pork ribs. Thanks alot Mr Lucky I had to go to 4 more store to find some butts. The funny thing is the longer it takes me to find butts the harder it is going to be to get em ready for dinner. Well the last store I go to has a couple of Half butts. I ask the smarter of the 2 butchers why he only has half butts and he points at the new guy and shakes his head. Ok so I think halfs butts half the cook time. Little suckers have been on 4.5 hours at 300 and they are at 176. Got em smoking on a nice mix of Lump, Charcoal and Hickory Chunks

Hey, I know of a bar across town that is having a special on butts tonight. And they are whole butts too, not those lil half butts you were talkin about. LOL

Yea, your prolly right. Most of the butts at the bar will be flabby anyway LOL

Let's steer this thing back to pork butts. How many whole pork butts do you think Mr. Lucky could smoke at one time? I got to go get a couple out of the freezer, I'll be right back.

A WSM could do 6-8 max I would think. Never cooked porkbutt on it before today. I think I could get 8 on it using both wracks.

Paul I bought a WSM to keep us in Q till we move. The family was buggimg the hell out of me for Smoked Ribs. I still got the Gator Predator on order. We had a contract on the house fall through so things are delaid a little longer. :wink:
