Hey guys!
I was wondering if anyone has ever been to one of his classes. I am thinking of trying to go to the one in Effingham, Illinois April 7-8, 2006.

The wife continually says that I am certifyably obsessed with Q'n!!! But you ought to see her come runnin' when the meat is ready to eat!!!

I just started my BBQ Log for documentation purposes. So I can do it again if something is good.

I have been reading DR. BBQ's book and I really like his attitude and the way he does things. I think it is the best BBQ book I have read so far.

I am seriously thinking about competitions and was thinking that Dr. BBQ's class might be a good start.

I have been thinking about a team name also. What do you guys think about:

ZBQ'n

What do you guys think?
Any thoughts or guidance are appreciated

The Dr hangs out with the Breathern. He is a regular there
I am told by a couple of No. Cal. types that much was gained in the class

I started with a Class by JR Roach and feel it was a great begining on the long road to becoming a Pit Master. So if I was you I would go for it. DrBBQ is well respected as is Paul Kirk and many others. Enjoy the Class

If you get the opportunity to take a Dr. BBQ class, do not hesitate. You will get hands on experience, not just someone doing it while you watch. If you can take your own cooker, that's even better.

And don't wimp out and go to a Motel for the night. Stay awake for the whole thing. An experience not to be missed.

The class schedule is not up to date. Got excited when I saw McKinney! Anyone up for a Dallas Area Class? I think these cost $215 per student.

McKinney class has been postponed:
It's now: July 22, 2006

Date change due to the Burn Ban new date from February 18, 2005 (I think the year is wrong).

There are several fl teams that were good cooks and couldn't even place in the backyard divisions.

After drbbq's comp class, they are now getting called regular in the pro division.
