Well, if the weather here cooperates on Super Sunday, I will be rolling Texas Hottie II outta the garage to cook ribs and briskets for the Super Bowl party at the local smoke shop. Could get pretty dicey if the weather don't cooperate! Hey Vin Man, stop on over and we'll have a cold one! Woodman

Man that does sound like a good plan!
I was talking to a friend in Texas right after the Pittsburgh game. (He's from Pa)
He said he's coming up for the super bowl and I should come to Pa to join in the partying. But that was yesterday LOL Plans could change.
Besides...I don't think I'd be welcomed in that state since I for the life of me can't root for the yellow and black.

I bet if you look at woodman's profile and search all his posts, you'll get to not only see the Hottie but what she can do. :D

I think I might make a bunch of chili for the day. I usually do that for the Super Bowl, and I've been jonesing for some chili.
Yep. Sounds good.

Oh no! I just got a bag of sho-nuf Mesican Oregano in the mail. The aroma is so strong, it goes right through the plastic bag. Looks like I'll be making some chili for the 3rd straight weekend.

Actually chili and ABT's sound like a great idea to me. I just fund a store that sells large Jalapenos, like twice the size of every other supermarket around here.

Man, it's gonna be tough if it's 20 degrees and windy here! Like today? 25 degrees with 30-40 mph gusts! Maybe boiled ribs? Anybody ever boil a brisket???????

Bring big screen to garage, fire up your pit, run stacks out a window. You got it made. Heat, ribs, game, what more ya need? I think your recliner is already out there, huh?

Sounds like how we did the Ohio state Michigan game here in November.
2-15lb. Briskets and a whole mess of sides. I still haven't been beaten by the weather yet :D
Then again, I find it more comfortable than sweattin' my butt off in July.

if you do, use Mexican chocolate like Ibarra, or Abuela. Ithas cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg that add to the flavor! W

Hey woodman...seems as though if this January's weather is a hint of what February has in store, you just may have to pull that thing outta the garage and put the rib boiling pan away huh?
