Backyard BBQ The art of Smokology www.ribstarbbq.com/smokingbook.html and only $15.95. I've started reading for second time and is great. :D :D Found this thru National Barbeque News paper. He had to do his own publication of book because no publisher would. :?:
Check out Dr.BBQ's new book.

MW I have DR BBQs book and thought it was great. I like his opinions and there are some unique recipes in there. Of course I don't agree with all his opinions, but I am going to try alot of things his way, because he is obviously more succesful at this than me.
I would HIGHLY recommend reading Legends of Texas Barbecue Cookbook. By Walsh. It was a great read. (pretty funny considering it is a cookbook!) It really dove into the Texas styles of cooking and the various styles throughout the state and how they originated. It also dove into talks about some of the great pitmasters and restaurants. Really good recipes throughout the book too that are based on regions.
I think you would like it.
What is your favorite Dr BBQ recipe?
