Found a nice ABT holder in the shape of the state of TEXAS at the local H.E.B. It holds 24 turds, is made of metal that has some kind of teflon-type finish. Only $10 each, so I bought 2 of them. They also had the chicken wing/drumstick holders for $5 each. Got one of them as well. If anyone can't find them and would like some, let me know and I'll ship them to you. I'll post a pic tomorrow if anyone needs to see it.

Yeah, those are a great deal. I even bought myself one for Christmas :) Works great! For some reason, doing the jalaps vertical came out a lot better than sliced and horizontal like I used to do. HEB's carrying lump now, too.

Glad you found those man. I had been trying to find you some, but my HEB has been out every time I've checked for a long time now, even when they advertised them. They do work great!

Zeeman, they don't seem to be teflon, more like a stamped metal covered with enamel. They work great and clean up easily plus sell for 8 bucks, hold 2 doz. but getting harder to find right now, guess Mr. Butts thinks it be a seasonal item.. I enjoy starting at the Sabine and working my way over to Rio Grande. Sometimes tho' I start at Matamoros and head towards Amarillo.....

txpgapro, can you do me a favor? What is the diameter of the holes, and what is the distance from center to center of the holes in the ABT holder you purchased?

The holes are 1" in width, and 8/10" apart from every other hole.

As long as you are making your own, you should make a few holes a little smaller for smaller jalapenos. Sometimes the smaller ones wanna fall throuh even after stuffing.
