From what I've tasted, either are fantastic. Haven't purchased the Brisket Blend yet and my understanding is it's just a bit more coarse with a tad bit more of one spice or pepper.
Between the two, you can NOT go wrong....

regular will be sweeter but I don't think it'll be a problem. If you like a bit of spice then get the brisket blend. It is fantastic. Shoot get it anyway.

Either rub will work great on Brisket. Just mainly a personal preference as to which you prefer.

I just got my first delivery of gloves-I mean Brisket Blend- and I'll let you know how it is when I'm through sniffing the gloves- I mean the rub.

I would go with the brisket blend.

I just got some of the brisket blend with the free glove deal.
I had been reluctant because I never like to mess with a good thing. It does have larger spices in it and the flavor seems to be more potent. I can't wait to use it.
I've never been steered in the wrong direction in here yet so I know the advice is good on this.
Bottom line is do what these people say LOL
Welcome by the way Smoking.

I've tried both and both are the best 'commercial' rub that I have found... Either will work. I'll be using the regular rub on briskets this weekend... 'cause that is what I have on hand!

Interesting. My impressions are just the opposite. The regular rub tastes spicier to me than the brisket blend.

IMHO, I believe that basically it's a matter of personal taste/opinion.That's just me.
