I don't know how many of you use this, but I just found out that Tom Thumb stores in the Dallas area are going to be selling Lazzari Lump in 20 lb bags starting next week. Just figured I'd pass this tidbit along.

Well thanks for that tip. Lazzari is good stuff..if you cooking direct or have even seen some use it to stoke an offset to avoid the distinctive creosote flavor of raw wood smoke. Do not let the R2D2 folks get too enthused..cuz it aint made for them. It will not propaly stoke a small water smoker..sorry.

I like the taste of creosote. It is crunchy.
