What are they?
Great temperature gizmos. They have a remote unit too as well as one with a probe showing current temperature. Programmable to your specific set points to give you an alarm when met.

I guess Cuban is really upset about that loss last night.

AsstChief7,
I bought mine a few months back for $39.99 from The Gadget Source. I also recommend them when someone is looking for a thermometer.

Last time I was at Cabela's they had them for $39.99 too.
ETA:
Kind of makes me think tomorrow I'll run down to my Buda Cabela's and get another since they gave me a $10 gift card. $29.99 for a Maverick seems very attractive now. In fact, I'll use as a pit thermometer by sticking the probe in a potato, then the potato on the cooking grate surface to get an accurate measurement.

Is the MAV ET 73 the unit of choice for those wanting to move into the 21 century?
