I just wanted to post this I just did a wedding for 200 people. My Thermapen was left in a pan outside when we left to serve at the wedding. The TEXAS sky was blue when we left by the time we returned the pan had 2" of water in it. I called Therapen and sent it back they fixed it and did not charge me. Good product and good people.

Thanks for the info. I have one of their units, but keep it under lock and key so nobody else in the house can get to it  . It's good to know they'll take care of it if there are any problems. Some time ago, someone had one get wet and he was going to send it back, but I don't remember the outcome on it. It sure makes you feel good about spending a little more up front knowing you have the backing of a good company.

Well, Brent, that's a good plan for you. Dennis, however, needs a better plan. He needs to give it to someone else who is more responsible. :P I say give it to Courtney.

I remember someone around here who told a story about his Thermapen winding up in the sink for a soak. The Thermapen folks replaced it, too. I don't know that I would run my business like that, but it's nice to know someone does. :D

How much business have they received from what probably cost them about $10-$15? I don't remember hearing anything bad about Thermopen (well, other than their new k-type thermocouple models won't fit in your pocket). I would buy another from them in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good thermometer.

Every story I have ever heard about Thermapen has always had a happy ending for the consumer. They appear to be the real deal for what they sell.
