Guy at work in the cube farm next to me says he's from nebraska. Says all they cook up there is beef ribs and pork briskets.

Is there such a thing as the pork brisket or is it called by another name? I've just never heard of one....

ETA:
Would you cook it to 195*f or so like a butt? Then what do you do with it?

Hi M38,
I've seen pork briskets at a FoodTown grocery store. It's kinda funny lookin thing. It's long and narrow. It caught my curiosity while I was looking for some butts. Didn't get it, though. Kinda curious about how it cooks and tastes, myself. I remember it was relatively cheap and I think it was under 8 lbs.

I have heard the bottom part of spareribs called the brisket. Not sure if that is right or not.
