Did a last minute gig this evening. Smoked 5 lbs. of flank a 4 lbs. of skirt, and 8 chicken breasts for fajitas, few dozen ABT's, 2 pckages of Johnsville brauts and 2 beer can chickens (1 with apple/orange/pineapple juice) for a party of 20. Turned out great, except for the 2 hours of rain we got. That makes the last 3 times I've taken the pit somewhere to cook that it has rianed. Two cookoffs and 1 catering = 7" of rain. 5" in the past 2 weeks. Had to leave the canopy and pit behind as the ground was to soft to get the pit out. Will pick it up later in the week. Wil post some pics tomorrow after the camera dries out.

Could you bring that pit here to Colorado. We could really use some rain on the north end :)

Mike, I would like to pursuade you to bring that pit up to Lake Tawakoni and park it next to mine. It rains all around us and we get nothing. We have trees bribing dogs for moisture here! ;O)
