i've noticed a lot of glazes call for diced onion, garlic, etc. chili judges don't like to see what they call "floaters" (i.e. bits of onion, garlic, etc.) floating in the chili. are bbq judges the same way :?: do the small pieces of garlic or onion in the glaze adversely affect their opinion :?:

You have to remember Most Judges take one bite
You have to cook that way Something that is great at home
May not be for turn in and I know turn in Q isnt what
I would put on the table for the Family

I don't believe it matters as much with bbq, its all cooked to a dark color, but if you have concerns with it, you can work wonders with a blender, they have a hard time picking my can of Rotel out of that bowl of chili 8)
