I was just checking out your Grand Prize Winnin' Chicken Marinade and was thinking about giving it a whirl this weekend. I was wonderin' how long you'd leave a mess o' thighs in there and if'n y'all had any more tips you could pass along. Thanks in advance.

Tereyaki is real good on thighs.marinade for a couple hours, pull out and sprinkle with rub. If you just want to season I use a Durkee Grill creations , Citrus Grill. It is real good.

Well I dont like splits to go longer than about 8 hrs...so 4 to 6 should work fine on thighs or leg quarters.

Thanks BW, I was thinking about 4 hrs or so. Any particular type of rub or sauce that you prefer with this marinade?

Tell ya been using Texasbbqrub on both chicken and also a TD smoked turkey. Made some mighty good grazings. You got any?

hey BW, any pics of the finished product?
i was checking out your list-o-ingredients...

i'm a yankee, i ain't got no clue where to find crab boil :shock:

hell, i took me 2 days and 9 stores just to find andouille sausage.....
and i still screwed up my gumbo :lol:

Well all the grocery stores have crab boil down here. Just leave it out if you cant find none. It aint no make it or break type deal. Think it just adds a little extry zing.
