Cooked for a little football party on Sunday w/ a mystery quest cook (and his pit) from the forum. Started early morning and were pretty much ready for game time. We did 9 slabs of spares, 20 lbs of chicken, a small brisket, reheated 2 previously cooked butts, did some stuffed onions and a bunch of brats. 8) Other guests brought the sides and one brought along his gasser to cook 30 pounds of fillets. :D
Was planning to take pics but my camera was dead  , so the picture taking was taken over by our mystery cook. He did a fine job (both cooking and taking pix) and even got a few crowd shots but...there were two Saintsation Cheerleaders at the party and he didn't get a picture of either one  .

Good lookin' food there, Elvis! You and the "Guest" did a fine job. Too bad the game didn't turn out better, but it looks like y'all ate well. :)

Nice spread Elvis! Those ribs really looked good! I was pulling for the Saints, but that Chicago defense is strong, and their offense decided to show up at the right time.

That looks like a good time, Elvis, even with the way the game turned out.
I remember a recent post that the "mystery guest" put up with a pictorial on those onions. It looks like he just cuts them nearly down to the bottom (so that they blossom a bit when cooked). Then, he tops them with a bunch of chipotle Tabasco, a good tablespoon or so pat of butter, and a bunch of parmesan. Then, I guess he just cooks them until they are soft and yummy. I meant to try that this weekend, but we made pasta instead.

The "guest" must be a smart man by not taking dem photos of da two Saintsational Cheerleaders at the party. Coulda been his last party if'n he did. Bet he got a photografic memory though 8)
Texlaw sounds like he hit da nail on da head about dem onions, I remember seeing da same post.

Can't really comment on that...I might be a little prejudiced and I wouldn't want it to sound like I was bragging. It is nice of you to say it though
