Last December[2005]my wife bought a large Prime rib roast. It was so big that we cut off three ribs and I vacuum packed it for future use. Well this weekend, over one year later, I found it at the bottom of the freezer.I thawed it out and threw it in the smoker. It was fantastic. You would never know it was that old. Didn't get a pic of it cut up but it was juicy and delicious.Food Saver did its job!!!!

Nice roast!

I tell you what. It would take a lot for me to part with my FoodSaver.

Foodsavers receive the TexasBBQRub stamp of approval. Every bag that goes out is used with one.

After wearing out my first foodsaver I switched over to Sorbent Systems snorkle vacuume systems due to the cheaper price on the bags and haven't looked back. Check them out. I don't work for them or get any kickback. I have started selling my bacon to co-workers and every bit helps!. John.

I used mine that I got for Christmas for the 1st time yesterday on some Sirloins I ran across at HEB Plus for $1.99 a pound. It worked great.

BTW...They had a large case filled with baby backs marked down to $2.79 a lb, and a few spares for $1.79. It's the HEB Plus on Patranco here in San Antonio.

Very Nice. I bought a Food Saver last spring from Costco's. I love it so far.
