Sounds like it would be good. About how many Jaleps do you think that mixture will fill? Let us know how it turns out.

I got up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat- what no cheese!
Recipe still needs work before production :-)
What kind of cheese?

Sounds great MI!!
I would recommend a smoked Gruyere cheese or a Fontina.
I tried these, thanks to the cheese expert DB, and loved them. The Gruyere especially!
Also, Butterkase (smoked if you can find it), is a great cheese. Heard about this from Santa.
I'm sure DB and/or Santa will chime in before too long.

I've done them with a crawfish stuffing, before...you can't go wrong! Like everyone else says...a little cheese surely won't hurt  .

I was going to say the same thing everyone else said: sounds good, but a little cheese may make it better. Stick with something mild, so you don't cover up the crawfish (i.e., go with Ed's suggestion of cream cheese or Half Fast's suggestion of butterkase). Don't use too much, either. I'd also keep some done without cheese, so I could see which is better. You never know!
