View Full Version : How Tos
I am going to start adding a "How To" section to the main index (website) and need some things to make "how tos" of. These can be anything from beginner to expert.
The how tos will be a combination, of text, images, and video.... that's right, TexasBBQRub will have video soon.
Some things I am thinking about are
1. How to rub: This is an obvious. Our site really doesn't give a detailed explanation of how to use the product.
2. How to cut brisket: Face it. If you cook a brisket for the first time, you will probably have no idea how to cut it unless someone has showed you.
3. How to choose meat: For example, when you go to the grocery store, what do you look for when looking for a good piece of meat.
Need some more ideas. Just think about what you'd like to know now, or what you wanted to know when you were a novice.
Thanks for the input guys.

How to tell that ribs are done. That's another one that gets asked all the time, but you just can't get the answer until you've seen it.

How-To's are a great idea - takes some time and effort to pull it off. I would like to see to stickys on the forum for the most oft-requested stuff.... similar to THIS THREAD (http://forum.texasbbqrub.com/showthread.php?t=24789) but covering spare ribs and/or loin backs. :twocents:
