Last week when my brisket order got messed up, the manager of the meat dept said he'd make it up to me, guess he wasn't kidding :D

That was a sweet deal. I did pretty good today also. A local supermarket has butts on sale for .79 a pound and beef back ribs for .47 a pound. I usually don't buy beef ribs because it's hard to find them with any meat left on them, but I did find some meaty ones in the bunch. Needless to say I loaded up on butts and ribs.

He asked if I'd let him have a taste sometime, I said no problem. Today I'm taking him a slab for him to enjoy while he enjoys the Georgia /Tennessee game :)
