is injecting better.......?

I just use a good rub and it always comes out very moist and just falls apart almost on it's own

Well--- I have done Butts with just salt and pepper and they were great. They are definetly the most fool proof meat to smoke. But a good rub enhances them. Texas BBQ rub is always recommended. But I usually make a rub of a little brown sugar, Powdered garlic, black pepper, salt, and sweet papirika. Works great.

I have used Texas BBQ Rub "Texas Wild" and it is the BEST thing I have tried so far. This IS NOT a paid advertisement, just plain truth. :D
It all depends on your desire for flavor... Double Barrell uses some mighty good seasonings... Can't miss with Salt, pepper, garlic, brown sugar, paprika...
Personally, I find that no injection is necessary.
Good luck.

Injecting? not necessary. Butts are very forgiving and hold their moisture fairly well.
And TxBBQRub is great tasting, and easier than mixing your own because it's always the same proportions to the mixture. And considering that you'd have to travel and buy the ingredients and mess with the mixing and experimentation, they have done it all for you.
take my word for it...
