Well it was a long cook. It would have been a little quicker if I didn't overload my smoker. I hope this doesn't sound like a commercial but here goes. In advertising you see a lot of hype. I really expected to be a little disappointed in the Texas BBQRub. The claims of less lime to prepare, special blend etc. All I can say is thank you Bill. This was the easiest prep I have ever done for a cook. The meat was rudded and ready to go in less than half an hour. I followed the easy instructions and absolutely love this product. I will be making another order as soon as I get home. Here is a link to some pics. Sorry there are no brisket pics by that time I was shot.

Amazing when the product lives up to the promises huh! There are only two commercial rubs that I will use anymore... TexasBBQRub is one of them!
Good looking eats too BTW.

Thanks guys. David I could have used the company Friday night was a long one. I learned a thing or two. First off I will never put that much meat on my smoker that was just to much. Second i could have cooked the buts a little longer. They were cooked just not that easy to pull. I think less meat on the smoker would have resulted in a shorter cook time. Third well I didn't really learn this but the next time I smoke I will have home brew on tap. i should get all the parts this week and I have 4, 5 gallon carboys, that will be ready in a week.

You're right jfish63, that is a lot of meat for that cooker! The bark looks really good though and I'll bet everything tasted great too. Nice job!

I got many compliments on the food. So far 3 people who don't like smoked meat loved the pulled pork and the brisket. My wife even liked the pork and that is amazing. I think I will be doing it again in 2 weeks.
