Disclaimer: I'm no Don Marco with taking pictures.....................I swear he could make a rock look good enough to eat.
Here's the brisket about 6 hours into the cook and ribs are just about done

It's about 800 miles from Houston to Atlanta, typically about 12 hours or so. I-10 moves pretty fast too, assuming one avoids the cops in Louisiana, Alabama, and to a lesser extend Mississippi and Georgia.
