Hi all-

Today I received my 2lb bag of brisket blend. I'm pretty excited to try it! I cook on a WSM. I was just going to follow the recipe on the website for the first time. Splash on some woosty sauce, apply the rub and cook at 225. Wrap when the internal hits 170 and pull off when tender, probably 197-200. Then I'll try to let it rest for an hour and probably end up slicing a little earlier because the smells will be getting to me!

Anything I missed...any other recommendations with this rub?

Thanks from KC.

Nope...you're gonna enjoy the rub. Glad to have you in here. When you get a chance, wander your mouse over to the New Member thread and introduce yourself to the gang...

...and don't feel strange about taking pictures of what you cook...we do it all the time and there's NOTHING strange about us...

Thanks DB! I posted in the New Member forum. I'll try to remember the camera. I love looking at pics too.

Cheers!

Nothing strange about us? I'd take that with a grain of salt.
