Got Back from being away for 2 weeks and the snow and cold weather let up for a few days So... I decided to do what any thinking person would do------

Everyone was getting hungry --Luckily the Rib eyes came up to 140* in about 2.5 hrs. {at 250*] Put them in the cooler to rest for about 1.5 hrs. They were great. Soft and tasty. The Country ribs took about 4 hrs. as did the Loin. Ate some steak that night and vacuumed the rest for later and friends.

Well you're not the first person to think that New york city covers most of new york state.:) Actually I do live in NYC a good part of the time when i am working. The stream in the pic is in front of my house which is about 100 miles north of the city. The land has been in the family since my grandfather bought it 90 years ago and was a dairy farmer. I do consider it my real home. And it's as different from NYC as night is from day. My nearest neighbor in NYC is 3 feet away in the next apartment. My nearest neighbor at my house is a half a mile down the road. :)
