Foodsever Vac 900

Cabela's has the Vac 900 on sale for $79.99. Does anybody have one, or know if they're any good?

I do not know about that one, I can only comment on the Stainless Steel Cabella's Commercial unit.

One thing if you do buy one is don't go el cheapo on the bags, buy the name brand ones.

If it has the manual kill switch on it, I say to go for it. That might be the most valuable function I have on my FoodSaver, but it is not on all of them.

I assume you are talking about the button that you can hit to cut off the vac and send it directly to sealing mode so you can do stuff that may have juice??

Thanks Tex & Free. I went and picked it up Sunday. It has the kill switch.
One last question- where is the cheapest place to get bags at?

Wal-mart or Sam's have had the cheapest I've seen. And, what Freedbaby said about the bags.

I get mine at Sam's. They have a package of two 11" rolls and two 8" rolls at a good price. You can also buy them off eBay for a fairly good price, if you see you use one size a great deal more than the other.
