I haven't posted in a while; been busy with work and getting ready for the kids to start back to school but I wanted to share what's on my pit today.

Looks good. Whut is that large object on the right? Was gonna guess a picnic maybe but aint never seen one with that many bones poking out the end. Maybe it is one of them Arkie picnics with extry bones and chromosomes and stuff..or maybe I aint never took time to count the bones. Dont look like a butt bone. Will wager it some type of hawg. Who knows? Now I can tell dead chicken parts when I see em so thats a breeze. Now whut is that black baby Armadillo type thang on the far left? You done good. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the replies! Bigwheel, you got me so damn tickled with that baby armadillo thing I can hardly type:lol: . When I posted the picture I wondered if anyone was gonna say...what the hell is that thing. It's the hide off that shoulder; I followed a recipe that said to take the hide off after 3.5 hours and to leave it on the pit because it makes a good crispy pigskin snack. They was right!
