Custom made oak boxes used for putting aluminum foil in instead of using the ones it comes in that get all crappy after a short time. I've seen them before but can't seem to find them. Nice stuff.

Take a try with this Google search and see if any of these are what you mean:

A couple of them look like they're made of wood, but they're different designs and may not be what you meant.

They look nice, a little pricey but nice. It also looks like one more thing to clutter up the counter top. I keep all foil, wax paper, freezer and vac bags in a cabinet out of sight, and out of the way, but handy.

Personally, I've never dropped either foil or plastic wrap, and I'm not sure I would want to carry all that out to the smoker everytime I wanted to wrap something in foil.

Looks like nice work, however; but I agree with HDF, who wants to keep all that outta sight.

I had the same thought until my boxes got wet. I made a box for foil and plastic wrap. Now I don't have to hold the box with one hand and tear off a piece with the other. The box is heavy enough to stay put while I tear off a piece of foil or that pesky plastic wrap. I gave a box to a friend and he is liking it as well as I do.JMHO

You either use very large rolls of foil, or keep really little dogs! :P

Now I know your just cheesing on this deal. Everybody from Texas uses big rolls of foil and got big dawgs. Everything is bigga and mo betta in Texas:) That is a toy dawg of some sort. Have seen them Oak foil boxes Red Neck's Daddy makes..they are real classy..work of art..labor of love etc. Wished I could afford one. Next time I see that boy think I will inquire about the credik plan. All kidding aside..everybody needs two. Think that is how many Big Dave bought at a single sitting. Course now that boy got money.

My addiction to que toys is the reason I can't retire. I'll have to keep using my foil out of what it came in.

I did my part for the economy this month by buying a new Titan to pull my trailer. Right now, if steamboats were a dime a dozen, all I could afford to do is run up and down the bank and holler, "ain't that cheap."
