I am going to smoke some turkey legs for my daughter this weekend. What is a good temp/time for this? I have cooked for years but have never done them before. Thanks

Are the legs pre-smoked form Sams? or are they raw? I need to know this before i can answer your question...:shrug::thumbs:

They will be raw. I am only doing about 4 legs. I have read about brining. Is it that important? And why?

For 4 turkey legs, would not brine. Rub them with rub and smoke until about 155 internal...

After smoking I'd throw em' on the grill to crisp up that rubbery skin. Just my one cent....
