smelled a rub with a very distinct smell, turns out it was apple cider, as far as i know it only comes in liquid...........right? I was wondering if any of you know how i could incorporate this flavor in to my own seasoning. i mean how could i add a dry spice version of apple cider to my own rub? Thanks guys.

You might try a apple cider drink mix powder or something like that. I have worchestershire powder and honey powder that I use in some of my rubs.

TPJ Apple/cinimon glaze. MMMMMMMMM. I've used it as a glaze towards the end of cooking. Adds a nice flavor even without any rub.

Yep. First time I tried it, made my eyes roll back in my head! That stuff's good on everything I've tried it on so far.
