Never laid eyes on one in person..but I like em. Lot of the bbq folks around here been going with the BWS's which seems like a fairly similar proposition to the Stumps and they all just seem to love em.

I got me a Stumps GF222CM. I don't believe I could find a better smoker for my purposes. Got plenty of room, cooks for 12 hours unattended and holds the temps perfectly.

It ain't as sexy as one o dem Gator Pits, but I don't need to stay awake all night to have good Q, either.

Will be a proud owner of a GF223 in a couple of weeks. I never knew eight weeks could take so long.

QinFL What are you talking about? That diamond plate you have on yours is dang sexy And like the saying goes, it's what is inside that counts or should I say what comes out of the inside that counts. The Q that comes out of a Stump's is sexxy

Nope, it's a "cm"(charcoal maze). Not sure what's up with cm's not being mentioned anymore on the Stump's website. Could've been replaced with the "cb"(charcoal basket).

Hey Txngent...how hot does the bottom shelf get(since it's close to the charcoal) compared to the top one?

I have a GF223 and love it. The CM223 should be the same size, but instead of the offset gravity feed you would have the charcoal maze under the racks.

It is my understanding that they do not offer the CM - Charcoal Maze - anymore.

The CM was a maze - it was supposed to be similar to a Jedmaster ring of fire where you light one end and it slowly burns through the maze.

BBQinFL would know more than me but I am pretty sure the GF 222 CM is a gravity fed system with one less shelf than the GF 223. The CM at the end does not stand for Charcoal Maze.

Way to go Bob...I like it when a future Stump`s owner helps me do my job. The GF 222, GF 222 CM, and the GF 223 all have the same footprint...the ONLY differences are in the number of cook racks and the tire size.
GF 222 - 3 cook racks, 10" tires
GF 222 CM - 4 cook racks, 10" tires
GF 223 - 5 cook racks, 13" tires
