Default how to tell a right handed brisket for a left

I would like to try this and see if it hold true. Is there a way to tell the difference?

Yup that's a way to tell left from right, though saying one will cook up more tender than the other is baloney,i mean the cows aren't doing gymnastics.

I think the left, right which is tenderer is from the thinking that the cow when laying down and getting up uses whichever side more,i think the right was mentioned as being more muscular, hence less tender when cooked. I'm not really sure how often they lay down? i worked at the stockyards during summer holidays in my youth and don't believe i seen one ever lay down, only when they go to sleep i think, and they were too nervous to be sleeping.

M38:
This time of year and with the droughts around the country there is alot of cleaning the herds of cows down. They don't want to have to buy all of that feed so they strart culling the cows. It happens this time a year anyway but with the droughts it actually is happening a bit quicker this year. So you will find some very tough meat out there from some older cattle that are being sold off. Hang in there and in a couple of months the beef will get better. Learn from this and stock up on the briskets you think you will need for a couple of months and freeze them. You can get them in July or so and usually the August meat is pretty good if the weather has cooperated with the ranchers.

As far as left and right on briskets in my opinion it does not matter. I have cooked thousands of briskets and there just is not any difference in the two.
